Free classes are available to Veterans, Active-Duty, Spouses, Caregivers, Guards, and Reserves Wednesday through Sunday. Tuesdays are dedicated to Steve’s private lessons—open to everyone for a fee. Email to reserve your spot.

Open House & Raku Night

Come hang out at our Open House & Raku Night—a perfect chance to check out the studio for the first time, meet the community, and enjoy a laid-back potluck (bring a dish to share!). If you’d like, bring a bisqued piece to glaze with raku and fire it that evening in our outdoor kiln.

Glass Casting With Bill Warehall

Join Bill for a deep dive into glass casting, where creativity meets craftsmanship. This class guides you through the full process of shaping, casting, and refining your own glass artwork.

Private Wheel Throwing With Steve

Learn how to work on the wheel in this hands-on private lesson led by Steve, open to the public for $150 per person. All supplies are included, and if you create a piece, it will be fired and ready for pickup later—email steve@vetart.org to sign up and please arrive 15 minutes early!

SkillBridge
Program

​The VETART SkillBridge Program helps active-duty service members in their last 180 days of service transition to civilian life through hands-on training in ceramics, glassblowing, and metalwork, while continuing to receive military pay and benefits. For more information, contact info@vetart.org.

Research
Intern

Assist VETART with Research & Development to improve our programming! Our team will work within your internship requirements while offering support and other learning opportunities. An internship with VETART is ideal for candidates pursuing degrees in public health, social sciences, or the arts.

 

Volunteer
at VETART

Support VETART by volunteering at events or with outreach/fundraising! Event Support Volunteers assist with setup, activities, and ticketing, earning free event admission. Outreach/Fundraising Volunteers help with research, coordinate volunteers, and promote events through social media.
